What Is Brainwave Entrainment? We will give you a clear rundown so as to eliminate any confusion as to what brainwave entrainment really is about.

Brainwave entrainment  is a rapidly growing field that involves the study of how changing brainwaves by natural means, will allow people to effortlessly enter states of increased intelligence, creativity, relaxation, pure energy, and more.

Here is a little of the science behind this fascinating subject: The brain is made up of billions of brain cells called neurons, which communicate with each other using electrical signals. All of these neurons sending signals at once, produce a large amount of electrical activity, commonly called a Brainwave Pattern.

Researchers and scientists have found that different bands of brainwaves, are associated with different mental states. For example, the brainwaves of a sleeping person are much different than the brainwaves of a person who is awake.

Research on brainwave entrainment and what it is

Years of research has shown that brainwaves not only provide insight into an individual’s mind and body, but they can be stimulated to actually change that person’s mental state. That’s right, by causing the brain to produce, or decrease, specific types of brainwave frequencies, it is possible to bring about a large variety of mental states, and emotional reactions.

In a 1973 issue of Scientific American, Dr. Gerald Oster examined how combining two pure tones, resulted in a rhythmic beat, which he called Binaural and Monaural Beats. In comparing Binaural beats against Monaural beats, Oster noted that Monaural beats were shown to elicit extremely strong cortical responses, which is the electrical activity responsible for entrainment. What is brainwave entrainment

Oster concluded, they could be useful in diagnosing certain neurological disorders.

In the 1980's, Dr. Glen Solomon and others, researched entrainment for headache relief, as well as general relaxation. In 1981, Arturo Manns published a study showing the effectiveness of Isochronic

Tones as a means of audio-based brainwave entrainment. He was always interested as to what is brainwave entrainment as well. This was later confirmed by others, such as David Siever. Michael Hutchison also wrote his landmark book, MegaBrain, in 1981, outlining the many possible uses of entrainment, from meditation to enhancing creativity.

Studies continued into the 90's with researchers such as Dr. Russell and Dr. Carter, who explored the potential of using entrainment with ADD, and learning disorders.

Research has also been conducted into Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Pain, Seasonal Affective Disorder, Hypertension and a number of other disorders.

What is brainwave entrainment? The research continues…

Brainwave entrainment research continues today, with the work of Dr. Thomas Budzynski, David Siever, psychologist Michael Joyce, Dr. Tina Huang and many others.

It has been shown to be effective in the treatment, or adjustment of: Addiction Recovery, Anxiety Reduction, Enhance Athletic Performance, Fatigue, ADD, Meditation, Health & Wellbeing, Performance Anxiety, Stress Relief, Sleep and even Zen Monk Meditation.

Is this for you? Everybody can benefit from this exciting field of science. After all, it is drug-free, non-invasive, and the only side effect, is increased creativity and relaxation. What a phenomenal self-improvement tool!

  • I’m looking for your brainwave guided meditations. One costs US$ 59 and the other is $ 89, if my memory doesn’t fail me. Last, but not least, can you give me more details of their durations, and the days needed of practice to get out the best of your meditation process.

    • Hello, no, I don’t have any brainwave meditation for that price. Mine are much less expensive than that.
